Bengaluru: Police arrested six students from an international school and the director of an inn where a 15 -year -old boy would have been stripped, beaten and sexually assaulted, officials said on Tuesday. According to the police, the teenager had informed the director of ill -treatment, but the latter ignored him. According to allegations, the accused children also poured him hot water during the abuse.
The arrests were processed by the Bannerghatta police, who recorded a case under the relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), the Juvenile Justice and the Pocso Act. This followed by an in -depth investigation into the issue. Police are currently questioning the school director.
A minor boy filed a complaint indicating that he was subjected to torture by his high -level students for four consecutive days. The boy said he was beaten with steel hangers and forced to dance without clothes. Despite the approach of the director of the inn to report sexual abuse and ragus, his complaints were ignored.
Police confirmed that the director had informed the parents of the boys, but only after a significant delay. The incident was revealed when the boy finally told his parents the alleged torture.
Following a complaint against the police, the director was arrested for negligence for not having taken rapid measures despite his information on abuse. In addition, six superior students involved in assault and sexual abuse were also apprehended. Surveys are currently underway.
