US President Donald Trump answered questions from the press regarding current issues while on a plane traveling from Washington to Florida for the weekend holiday.
Trump did not confirm the news reported by the American media that the US military was preparing for an attack on military facilities in Venezuela. When asked whether he was considering an attack on Venezuela, the US President replied, “No.” Trump also answered the same reporter’s question, “Have you made a decision on this matter?” with “No.”
In a report by the American Miami Herald, based on sources with knowledge of the matter, it was claimed that the US military had made a decision to attack military facilities in Venezuela and that the attacks could “happen at any moment.”
Trump also made statements reinforcing his recent remarks about the US resuming nuclear weapons tests, saying, “You will learn very soon, but we will conduct some tests.” The US President expressed their desire to conduct nuclear tests, stating, “Other countries are doing it. If they are doing it, we will do it too. I know exactly what we are doing and where we are doing it. Other countries are doing it, and if other countries are doing it, we will do it too.”
On the other hand, the US-based Washington Post (WP) also claimed that Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro requested “urgent military support” from Russia against the US. According to some documents obtained by WP from the US government, it was reported that Maduro requested “urgent military support, including missiles” from Russia. The report stated, “The documents show that Maduro prepared a draft letter requesting missiles, radars, and more advanced aircraft from Russia while US forces were stationed in the Caribbean.”

Recently, the US military’s attacks on some boats in the Caribbean and the Pacific Ocean, which they claimed were involved in drug trafficking, and directly targeting the people on board, have sparked discussions about “extrajudicial killings” in the international public opinion.
