Tennessee football freshman defensive lineman Jayden Loftin is entering the transfer portal, he announced on Jan. 2.
“Forever grateful for the opportunity to be apart of this program. I will entering my name into the transfer portal with 4 years of eligibility,” Loftin posted on X.
Loftin is a 6-foot-4, 255-pounder from Somerville, New Jersey. He was a four-star recruit in the 2025 class, ranked the No. 30 edge rusher and No. 289 player overall by 247Sports Composite.
As a freshman, he appeared in one game, a 42-9 win over New Mexico State, and did not record a tackle.
Loftin took a redshirt, so he has four seasons of eligibility remaining.
