The parents of a 14-year-old boy who was found dead last year have said they were “crying out for support” before his death, an inquest has heard.
Logan Slater, 14, had been missing for two days in October last year before his body was found at Beechwood Park, Brighouse, West Yorkshire. Logan’s father, Christopher, gave evidence at Bradford Coroner’s Court as the inquest into the teenager’s death resumed this week.
The court heard that the Slater family had received support from a one-to-one and a family support worker in the year before Logan’s death due to his behaviour “spiralling”.
The inquest, which is expected to last three days, continues.
