
A teenage boy sustained serious injuries in a moped crash in Coventry. It happened in Potters Green yesterday morning (September 29).
Paramedics were called to the junction of Laurel Close and Deedmore Road at around 7.30am. Crews found a car and a moped had crashed.
Medics treated the teenage moped rider for potentially serious injuries. He was taken to University Hospital Coventry.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called to reports of a collision between a moped and a car at the junction of Laurel Close and Deedmore Road at 7.28am on Monday. One ambulance and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance attended.
“We discovered one patient, a teenage male, from the moped. He was treated for potentially serious injuries before being taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.”
