If you’re like me, you have to be careful when going to Target because I spend way too much money there. However, I never stick to it and go all the time. It just has everything and it’s fun to walk around. Ha!
In June, it was announced that one new target store would be opening up in Wisconsin between then and 2026. They are expanding more in other states like Florida and Texas.
Whenever these new stores come to fruition, one thing is pretty certain: they will be missing something that is prevalent in a ton of Target stores nationwide at the moment.
On Thursday (August 14th), it was announced that the two major businesses would be ending their partnership when their current contract expires in August of 2026. Both shared the news in separate press releases.
Mini Ulta stores started making their way into Target stores all the way back in 2021. I cannot believe it’s been that long! Target told the press they will continue to offer “an exciting mix of beauty brands with continuous newness, all at an unbeatable value” in their stores.
The Duluth location does have a mini Ulta store, which will be no longer come next year. However, there’s an Ulta less than a minute away at the Miller Hill Mall so you can still get all the goodies you’ve come to love at the beauty store.
There are not Ulta stores in every Target store. Instead, there are about 600 across Target stores nationwide. They can be found in about one-third of Target stores but not for much longer.
