When Sato’s childhood friend Hime suddenly said good-bye, he chased after her and found himself in a fantasy world!
One property that has bubbled along in awareness for many because of its release in English from Yen Press is the Tales of Wedding Rings from Maybe. We learned in January 2023 that an anime adaptation was on the way. Crunchyroll picked the series up with it available to members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
While the first season anime adaptation saw a January 6th, 2024, premiere date set, the second season saw an October 4th, 2025, premiere date. With the show underway, the release of the 15th episode this weekend saw a new visual released for it, which definitely hits a certain vibe.
The show has Takashi Naoya directing it from the scripts by Deko Akao. Saori Nakashiki is handling the character designs with Staple Entertainment on the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes:
* Gen Sato as Satou
* Akari Kito as Hime
* Miyuri Shimabukuro as Nephrites
* Hitomi Ueda as Granart
* Ai Kakuma as Saphir
* Mikako Komatsu as Amber
* Shōgo Sakata as Marse
* Shigeru Chiba as Alabaster
* Miyu Tomiya as Morion
The series features the opening theme song “Daybreak” as performed by Sizuk once again, while Akari Kito will perform the ending song “any if” for the season.
The manga from Maybe began in 2014 and has thirteen volumes out as of January 2022. Yen Press releases it in English.
