Sylvain Francisco was named Most Valuable Player for Round 29 of the 2025-26 EuroLeague Regular Season.
Euroleague Basketball formally announced the latest MVP of the Round on Friday.
Per the press release: “For the second round in a row, the EuroLeague MVP of the Round is a Zalgiris Kaunas player. After Moses Wright’s dominance in Round 28, Sylvain Francisco starred in Round 29, leading the Lithuanian champs to a 99-94 double-overtime win over Olympiacos Piraeus.
Francisco racked up 23 points, 3 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks and 8 fouls drawn for a PIR of 36, which was the highest of all players in the round. He made 2 of 3 two-pointers, 4 of 8 three-pointers and 7 of 7 free throws.
This marks Francisco’s second MVP of the Round this season after he shared the distinction in Round 7.
Elijah Bryant of Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv had the second-highest PIR of the round as he posted a 34 in his team’s 92-86 home win over EA7 Emporio Armani Milan. Bryant led the way with 25 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 6 fouls drawn.
Talen Horton-Tucker of Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul and Jaron Blossomgame of AS Monaco each amassed PIRs of 33. Horton-Tucker led Fenerbahce to an 81-78 home win over Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade with 29 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 6 fouls drawn. Blossomgame had 25 points on 10-of-10 free-throw shooting plus 7 rebounds in a loss to Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv. Nigel Hayes-Davis of Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens completes the top individual performances in Round 29 with a PIR of 30. In his return to the competition after being chosen the 2025 Final Four MVP with Fenerbahce, Hayes-Davis scored 27 points against Paris Basketball.
Individual highs: Evan Fournier of Olympiacos, 32 points
Evan Fournier of Olympiacos led all scorers in Round 29 with 32 points against Zalgiris. Nadir Hifi of Paris leads the scorers’ table at 19.5 points per game.
Moses Wright of Zalgiris was the only player to register double digits in rebounds, pulling down 13 against Olympiacos. Nikola Milutinov of Olympiacos remains the competition’s best rebounder at 7.4 per game.
Nico Laprovittola of FC Barcelona dished 12 assists, which were more than anyone else in Round 29, in his team’s road loss against Virtus Bologna. Codi Miller-McIntyre of Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade ranks first overall with 6.9 assists per night.
Luca Vildoza of Virtus collected 5 steals in his team’s 85-80 home win over Barca. Aleksa Avramovic of Dubai Basketball leads the league in steals with 1.5 per game.
Wright blocked 4 shots against Olympiacos. Walter Tavares of Real Madrid leads the overall standings at 1.9 blocks per game.
Wright (14 points, 13 rebounds) and Laprovittola (14 points, 12 assists) were the only players to register double-doubles in Round 29.”
