Four men have been charged after cocaine was smuggled through Manchester Airport. The suspects, who were arrested in a series of morning raids by the National Crime Agency (NCA), were charged last night, Tuesday, June 17, and will appear today at Manchester Magistrates’ Court.
Two of the suspects were arrested at Merseyside addresses. They were today named as Albanian nationals Elton Hallaci, 31 and of Adlam Road in Fazakerley, and Artur Iseberi, 27 and of Aintree Lane in Aintree. Also charged were Dale Hosker, 49 and of Palatine Road in Bury, and Dale Creen, 34 and of Mere Fold in Worsley.
Two other men who were arrested yesterday have been released on bail while investigations continue. The alleged offences were suspected to have been committed in May last year.
The NCA said its investigation is part of its work “at home and abroad to fight the class A drugs threat”.
