
Strictly Come Dancing fans were left in stitches after a moment on tonight’s show. The dance competition, which sees celebrities go head-to-head to win the Glitterball trophy, was back for its forth week. On its latest episode (October 18), presenter Tess Daly welcomed George Clarke and his professional dance partner Alexis Warr as they were set to perform the tango to Coldplay’s Viva La Vida.
Tess Daly said: “Next on the floor its George and Alexis and tonight they’re dancing a Tango to a Coldplay classic. And in honour of Coldplay, I thought we should get out our very own audience cam and see what’s happening in the studio tonight.”
Presenter Claudia Winkleman could then be seen in the arms of the show’s conductor David Arch as the appeared to parody the audience cam moment, which went viral on social media.
CEO of Astronomer Andy Byron was caught in an embrace with his colleague Kristin Cabot at Coldplay’s Boston gig in a clip that went viral on social media.
The tech firm later said its boss had tendered his resignation and the board of directors had accepted it.
In the clip, viewed millions of times, the pair quickly hide away from the camera as it appears on a screen in front of the crowd.
Strictly Come Dancing fans found the moment hilarious and took to X, formerly Twitter, to share their views.
