Locust Lake Loop walk: Schuylkill Conservation District leads 1-mile walk along easy, mostly paved path on Feb. 19 at 1 p.m. Meet at the Locust Lake visitor parking lot. Children and dogs welcome.

Landingville Marsh Meander: Feb. 22 at 2 p.m. Hike the John Bartram Trail to view the base of the oldest transportation tunnel in America (built in 1827) and note remnants of the canal. Meets in the parking lot across from the Landingville Playground. Children are welcome, but no dogs. The hike is 2 miles and easy.

Lorax Led Walk: Kids’ event on March 1 at 2 p.m. Celebrate world reading and Dr. Seuss Day by learning about local trees and their history. Meets at Sweet Arrow Lake Waterfall Pavilion Parking Lot. Children of all ages and well-behaved dogs are welcome.
