More than 100,000 Solana Mobile users and app developers are set to receive close to 2 billion Seeker (SKR) tokens in the project’s first airdrop, scheduled for next week.
In a post on X on Wednesday, Solana Mobile said an allocation tracker is now live, allowing users and developers to check their “seed vault wallets” to see how many tokens they will receive ahead of the Jan. 21 airdrop.
“The total allocation for this airdrop includes 1,819,755,000 SKR to 100,908 users and 141,030,000 SKR to 188 developers. Nearly 2 billion SKR goes to the community,” the company said.
The SKR airdrop is linked to Solana Mobile’s second-generation Seeker smartphone, which began shipping in August 2025 and is priced at around $500.
SKR serves as the native token of the Solana mobile ecosystem, with the airdrop accounting for 20% of the total 10 billion token supply.

After the airdrop, Solana Mobile said users will be able to begin staking SKR immediately to earn rewards.
“Once you claim on January 21 at 2am UTC, you’ll be able to stake your SKR and earn rewards. Seekers can stake directly to Guardians in Seed Vault Wallet, and SKR can also be staked on the web via the SKR staking experience,” the company said.
User allocations—available to those who own a Seeker phone—are divided into multiple tiers: Scout, Prospector, Vanguard, Luminary and Sovereign. Sovereign is the top tier, with each eligible user receiving 750,000 SKR.
Reward amounts are determined by user engagement with the Seeker handset, activity in the Solana decentralized app store, and on-chain participation during the first season of the airdrop.
Ahead of the Seeker launch, Solana Mobile said it had received more than 150,000 pre-orders. However, updated figures show that only about 109,000 users qualify for the airdrop, well below the initial pre-order total.
Unlike Solana Mobile’s first-generation Saga device, the Seeker was built to be more than just a “rewards magnet,” with the company emphasizing robust underlying infrastructure and the development of a vibrant dApp ecosystem.
