The communication event titled “Chaîne Inter: a radio attuned to the young generation of Moroccans worldwide” wrapped up on Monday, August 11, 2025, in Rabat. This occasion marked the conclusion of the fourth edition of the National Broadcasting and Television Company’s (SNRT) open days for Moroccans living abroad. The event highlighted the channel’s innovative approach, featuring an interactive program tailored for young audiences both in Morocco and across the globe.

Chaîne Inter’s pioneering efforts in this field were showcased in the presence of SNRT officials, media professionals, and radio hosts. The channel is acclaimed for its “innovative and interactive shows that resonate with the interests of young people in Morocco and abroad, while embracing new digital communication techniques”, as stated in a communiqué received by Yabiladi.

During the event, Nabila Azerkane, a journalist from Al Aoula channel’s information department, facilitated discussions. Amina Majlal, head of international production at the radio production and programming department, emphasized the channel’s distinctive programming, which celebrates “Moroccan culture, broadcasting in Arabic, French, and English, thereby building cultural bridges through a rich and diverse editorial offering”.

The channel’s young hosts shared their experiences with young Moroccans residing in European countries such as France, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, as well as in Arab countries like the Sultanate of Oman. Hicham Lazrak, host of the show “Interactivity”, which airs Monday to Friday from 9 AM to noon, described the program as “a daily interactive space on the airwaves”.

Meanwhile, host Ghizlane Chraygane introduced her weekly magazine “Moroccans of the World”, broadcast every Saturday. This show provides a platform for Moroccans living abroad to “share their challenges and successes through heartfelt interviews, reflecting their sense of belonging and attachment to Moroccan culture and identity”.

In another segment, journalist Fayrouz Ben Taleb presented her show “Trends and Influences”, which airs from Monday to Friday from 4 PM to 6 PM. The program “covers the latest web trends at both national and international levels”, while also exploring their societal impact through discussions and media analyses.

According to SNRT, Chaîne Inter broadcast a total of 8,760 hours in 2024. News programming accounted for 1,512 hours, with live broadcasts comprising 93.6% of the airtime. Pre-recorded content made up just 6.40% of the schedule.
