KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) Fellowship programme has opened new opportunities for young Sabahans to play a direct role in the state’s development, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.
He said the programme serves as a platform to build identity, integrity, and leadership in line with the SMJ Development Plan’s focus on human capital as the key to a sustainable and competitive future.

He said young leaders must not only be equipped with knowledge and skills but must also lead with empathy, discipline, and integrity while keeping the people’s interests above personal gain.
