A crypto trader with the wallet name 0x15b3 is making headlines after reportedly profiting $48 million in only four months.
According to Lookoonchain, a blockchain tracker who spotted the transactions. This trader has been using Hyperliquid exchange to place long bets on 15 different tokens, including Ethereum (ETH), XRP, Solana (SOL), and Chainlink (LINK). From these trades alone, the profit has already reached about $38 million
However, lookonchain also revealed another bet in April. At the time, the trader bought 309 WBTC which is roughly about $24.68 million at an average price of $79,778.
From June 16 onward, he sold 199 WBTC for $22.06 million at an average price of $110,687. That gave him almost $10 million in profit. He still holds 110 BTC, which is now worth around $12.5 million.
On-chain data further shows that the trader is still managing positions worth $116 million with leverage set at 5.39x.
Leverage in this term is when traders borrow money from trading platforms to trade. With this, the trader could take bigger trades than what he could with only his own funds. This multiplies the profit, but it can also lead to larger losses .
Right now, the trader has unrealized profit of more than $12.4 million. Two of his biggest winning trades came from ETH and XRP, with millions of dollars in profit already showing.
