Swathes of emergency vehicles – including at least six police cars – have been called to an assault in Nottingham city centre.
Nottinghamshire Police has now confirmed they were called out to the bus station over reports of an assault. The force said a suspect has been arrested and, as of 3:20pm, the scene was wrapping up with emergency services leaving.
It is understood Nottingham City Transport (NCT) and Trent Barton buses departing from the station continued to run as usual whilst police dealt with the incident.
