CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – ‘Sip and Savor’ those wonderous moments at the Tennessee Aquarium, plus it’s time to consider registering for spring and summer camps!
The Tennessee Aquarium brings back their after hours, adult only event with ‘Sip and Savor’ but it has a new twist! The ‘Sip and Savor’ event is now for adults 18 and up with a focus on mocktail drinks. The event is perfect for date night or those curious to see how animals act at nighttime. The event will be on Saturday, January 31 from 6 – 9 PM. Tickets are on sale now.
It’s time to start planning ahead for spring break and summer break! Registration for both camps will open at the same time, with Tennessee Aquarium members getting to register ahead on January 28. The general public can register on February 2.
The aquarium features children’s camps for all ages, housed on the campus. This year, campus will include activities and experiences with the new S.T.R.E.A.M. learning center!
There are different themed camps for each child’s age and interest. Spring break will offer camps for ages 5 – 9 years old. In the summer, there are more options for different ages. For teenagers, they can experience a night at the aquarium with the ‘Nocturnal Wonders’ specialty summer camp, which includes spending the night under the sea.
