“I’d like to encourage everyone in our community to visit, donate, or volunteer to help support this great cause.”
Sue Ryder is calling on the local community to support the new shop by donating pre-loved items and signing up to volunteer. Donations can be dropped off during opening hours, and volunteering roles are flexible and a great way to meet new people, as well as learn new skills.
Dawn Chesworth, shop manager at Sue Ryder’s St Helens shop said: “We’re thrilled to open our doors and welcome everyone into the new Sue Ryder shop. We are also incredibly grateful to Marie for supporting this special moment.
“Our shops are more than just places to find a bargain, every item donated, every hour volunteered, and every purchase made helps us provide more care and support, so no one has to face death or grief alone. This shop is now part of the community, and with your support, we can make a real difference.”
