The “Basic Instinct” actress has changed what she wears since her sons left home.
Sharon Stone has a new wardrobe now that her three sons have all moved out of the house.
The Casino star revealed on Wednesday’s episode of Late Night With Seth Meyers that she’s “back wearing lady underwear,” after living in a “stinky fraternity house” for 25 years.
Stone is the mother of three adopted sons: Roan, 25, whom she shares with ex-husband Phil Bronstein, as well as Laird, 20, and Quinn, who’s 19.
“I’ve been wearing boxer shorts,” Stone explained. “Because you do not wear lady panties when you have so many boys.”
Stone had just started morphing into “a dude, just a dude,” she said playfully.
Now that they live in other places, “I’m a girl again.”
She continued, “I hope you notice. I feel really feminine again. I grew my hair back. It’s amazing!”
Stone is, of course, known for playing sexy but deadly characters such as Catherine Tramell, the lead in the 1992 movie Basic Instinct. (Entertainment Weekly ranked Trammel the best of such characters on a March 2024 list.)
She addressed the most infamous scene from the erotic thriller that costarred Michael Douglas in a Business Insider interview this month. It’s when Tramell crosses her legs while wearing no underwear of any style as she’s interrogated by police.

“It made me an icon, but it didn’t bring me respect,” Stone said. “But would I do it again? We don’t get to make these choices in life. I don’t participate in the fantasy world in this way.”
Stone will also appear next year on the third season of the HBO series Euphoria.
