
Township hosting Severn Connects events Feb. 27 in Washago, March 2 in Coldwater
Severn residents are invited to take part in upcoming events aimed at strengthening the township’s relationship with the community.
Severn Connects will take place Friday, Feb. 27 at the Washago Community Centre (4361 Hamilton St.) and Monday, March 2 at the Coldwater Community Centre (11 Michael Anne Dr.) from 1 to 6:30 p.m. each day.
Refreshments will be available.
Residents will be able to connect with township officials on topics including the following:
Annual fire permit purchases Building permit information Business support information Development and planning guidance Dog licence applications Facility bookings Fire safety education Pre-authorized payment enrolment Pre-ordering rain barrels Recreation program registration Severn Township Public Library programs and library card sign-ups Welcome packages
Kids’ activities will be available, including Connect 4, colouring tables, and more.
“Severn Connects aims to strengthen relationships between the township and residents, increase inclusivity, and provide convenient access to municipal services and programs,” the township stated in an email. “Residents are encouraged to come out, learn about the services available, and engage with township staff in a welcoming, family-friendly environment.”
