Former undisputed ONE bantamweight MMA world champion ‘Wonder Boy’ Fabricio Andrade of Brazil is on the comeback trail following a harrowing defeat to Mongolian rival ‘The Tormentor’ Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu.
Andrade lost his 26 pounds of gold to the Physical: Asia star in the main event of ONE Fight Night 38: Andrade vs. Baatarkhuu last December, falling via rear-naked choke in the fourth round.
Speaking to ONE Championship in a recent interview, Andrade says this entire experience has only made him a better fighter.
He also maintains that even though many people underestimated Baatarkhuu, he was not one of them.
‘Wonder Boy’ told the world’s largest martial arts organization:
“Setbacks only make us stronger. Before the fight, everyone was talking about how easy this would be, who would be next already. They were talking about possible opponents after this fight. People were overlooking this guy. Not me.”
Needless to say, Andrade will never make the mistake of underestimating Baatarkhuu, even if they meet in a potential rematch later this year.

‘Wonder Boy’ Fabricio Andrade admits there are a few things he needs to work on before he can face ‘The Tormentor’ Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu again.
The 28-year-old is already hard at work addressing his weaknesses in order to become a better fighter. The Tiger Muay Thai and Evolve MMA representative said:
“Now, everything is more interesting. I need to evolve to prepare to get better and to come back stronger. I’m pumped to evolve and get better.”
