Police have appealed to the public for information on a serious crash in Perth’s east on Saturday that hospitalised an elderly woman.
A blue Toyota Yaris sedan was travelling southbound on Lloyd St around 12.45pm on Saturday when it crossed the intersection of Clayton Street, crashing into a traffic control light.
Police and ambulance services attended the scene.
The sole occupant of the Yaris, an 81-year-old woman, was conveyed to St John of God Midland for treatment.

The intersection was reopened to the public at 2pm on Saturday.
Road Policing Group North are investigating the crash.
