Securitize has expanded its tokenized real-world asset (RWA) platform to the Sei Network, launching the Apollo Diversified Credit Fund (ACRED) as its inaugural offering. ACRED provides qualified investors with tokenized access to Apollo’s diversified global credit strategy, covering corporate direct lending, asset-backed lending, performing credit, and dislocated credit.
The integration leverages Sei’s technical capabilities, while Securitize uses its official interoperability partner, Wormhole, to enable ACRED tokens to move seamlessly across blockchains. This expands liquidity and access for token holders and establishes Sei as a viable platform for institutional-grade financial products.
ACRED acts as a feeder fund, giving investors a digital entry point to Apollo Diversified Credit Fund. By tokenizing the fund, Securitize enables on-chain participation in private credit strategies, which have traditionally been limited to institutional investors.
Key elements of ACRED’s launch include:
Sei Network offers features that make tokenized private credit more efficient and accessible. Smart contracts are optimized for Sei’s parallel processing capabilities, improving transaction throughput. The network also supports direct connectivity to institutional custody solutions and native USDC, facilitating seamless cross-chain transfers.
“We’re seeing explosive growth in both stablecoin adoption and RWA tokenization, and yet the opportunity in these markets is still massive,” said Justin Barlow, Executive Director at the Sei Development Foundation, “Private credit alone is projected to be a $2.8 trillion market by 2028. Sei’s infrastructure is purpose-built to capture this opportunity and enable the next generation of tokenized financial products.”
Securitize has already tokenized over $3 billion in assets, including partnerships with BlackRock, Hamilton Lane, KKR, and VanEck. The platform also serves as the tokenization partner for BlackRock’s BUIDL money market fund.
The integration with Sei represents a broader shift in financial markets, where traditional instruments are increasingly being represented on blockchain systems. This approach accelerates settlements, reduces intermediaries, and opens access to new investor segments. According to RWA.xyz, the total real-world asset market has surpassed $30 billion, and Securitize expects additional funds to follow ACRED onto Sei.
Securitize Platform Features on Sei
Securitize’s integration with Sei includes several technical and compliance-focused features that support institutional adoption:
These capabilities aim to combine the efficiency of blockchain systems with the compliance standards required by institutional investors.
Tokenized private credit is part of a growing trend where real-world assets are represented digitally on blockchain networks. By reducing settlement times and increasing liquidity, these tokens aim to make private credit more accessible while maintaining trust and compliance standards. Sei’s infrastructure, combined with Securitize’s platform, supports this trend by providing daily NAV calculations, automated compliance, and DeFi composability.
The integration also highlights Sei’s potential to attract serious capital into its ecosystem. With institutional-grade features, the network aims to become a hub for adoption of RWA tokens and stablecoins.
Understanding the ACRED launch on Sei requires familiarity with a few related concepts:
Securitize’s launch of ACRED on Sei provides tokenized access to a diversified credit fund, combining institutional compliance with blockchain efficiency. The integration demonstrates daily NAV pricing, automated reporting, cross-chain asset movement, and DeFi composability. By leveraging Sei’s technical advantages, Securitize ensures that investors can participate in tokenized private credit in a regulated, scalable, and accessible manner.
