
New leadership team members bring expertise in economics, human resources, legal affairs and grain operations.
Agricultural supply chain company Scoular has appointed four new officers to its leadership team, expanding its roster of vice presidents who guide enterprise-wide decisions and business operations.
The new officers, who lead major business areas or functions at the company, include experts in economic analysis, human resources, legal affairs and grain operations.
Ankush Bhandari has been named vice president of economic analysis after joining Scoular in 2026. With more than 20 years of experience at Conagra and Gavilon (now Bunge), Bhandari brings a data-led approach to market analysis that has “elevated him to a place with few peers in his occupation,” according to the company.
Jennifer Brewton, who joined Scoular in 2019 after working at Lansing Trade Group, has been appointed vice president of human resources. She partners with the company’s Grain Division leadership to support over 600 employees and brings more than 20 years of experience in people leadership and talent acquisition.
Tim Manning was named vice president and deputy general counsel. Previously with SunOpta as senior corporate counsel, Manning leads a team overseeing all legal activity in commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, real estate and regulatory matters.
Billy Shortal becomes vice president and general manager of Eastern Rail Grains. Joining Scoular in 2021, Shortal oversees the company’s Lake City, Florida, facility business and brings more than 30 years of experience.
