The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) is gearing up for the 29th edition of its flagship Techfest, scheduled from December 21 to 24, 2025, featuring a series of hands-on workshops for school and college students.
According to the institute, IIT Bombay’s Techfest is Asia’s largest science and technology festival, attracting thousands of participants from across India and abroad.
These workshops aim to bridge the gap between classroom learning and practical application, giving participants direct experience in emerging fields such as machine learning, robotics, cybersecurity, and stock market analysis.
Designed for both school and college students, the sessions are organised in collaboration with leading industry experts and will provide professional certificates from IIT Bombay, along with free access to all Techfest events.
“Through these workshops, students will not only learn cutting-edge technologies but also gain the confidence to apply their skills to real-world projects,” said the Techfest team. Participants will also have the opportunity to interact with experts from top organisations like Amazon, Google, and BSE, gaining valuable insights into industry trends and applications.
