MANILA, Philippines – Vice President Sara Duterte urged Filipinos on All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day to embody the true spirit of faith, reverence for the saints and fervent remembrance for the deceased.
“Let us continue to pray for the peace and tranquility of their souls. May their memory inspire every step we take in life,” Duterte said in her video message released Saturday.
She also called for unity and hope to prevail in every Filipino family and called on them to face each day with faith, hope, and love.
