KOTA KINABALU: Former Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (Star) Sabah Deputy President Datuk Robert Tawik (pic) has urged members and supporters of the party to continue backing the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) government under Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor for the sake of political stability and development.
The Bingkor Assemblyman said while he respected Star’s decision to contest independently in the upcoming state election, maintaining political stability and continuity of progress achieved under GRS since 2020 should be the priority.

Robert dismissed claims that Star was expelled from GRS, clarifying that the party leadership had voluntarily left the coalition, though many grassroots members still supported the government’s policies which had benefitted the people.
