Two-week game jam on Remix lets participants create NFT titles with AI.
Remix, an AI-powered game development platform, has partnered with VeeFriends, the NFT project created by Gary Vaynerchuk, to launch a new game jam with a $5,000 USDC prize pool. The competition, running from October 24 to November 4, 2025, invites creators to build games featuring VeeFriends characters.
Designed to lower barriers for entry, Remix’s browser-based platform allows participants to create games using plain English instructions, eliminating the need for coding experience.
Formerly known as Farcade, Remix gaming platform built on the Base network allows anyone to create games using simple text prompts. No coding or prior experience with game engines is needed.
Developers can leverage AI tools to design and deploy games quickly, opening the door for a broader community to engage in Web3 game creation.
Games approved during the jam will be distributed to over 750,000 players across multiple platforms, including Remix’s iOS app, Telegram, Farcaster, Base App, and World App. Participants also earn Remix Points, which contribute to their on-chain reputation and potential future rewards within the ecosystem.
Submissions must comply with content guidelines and use VeeFriends assets appropriately. Following the submission period, a weekend tournament will highlight standout games and showcase the platform’s capabilities.
Remix’s model emphasizes a create-to-earn approach, where developers can generate rewards by publishing games and engaging audiences. The platform already hosts more than 800 games and counts over 500,000 players, who have collectively logged more than 18 million plays.
