Been wondering if the huge turn outs we are witnessing at the rallies and especially on Nomination day, is a real guide to what will unfold on September 3. I saw a long everlasting caravan of supporters for Floyd and wondered how many of them are enumerated. – @IrishandChin

For all the “record crowds” who turn up at political meetings, isn’t it curiously odd, that voter turnout is consistently low? Where are all those “massive” crowds on election day? Surely they are not the voter apathy ones! So what explains the disconnect? Those who know, know! – @Zemi66

If the youth knows what’s good for them they better turn out! Because they’re the one’s who complained the most about government! Two ways to influence government or policies is to join either party or vote. – @Truth_Rights39

Will the political science prevail over psychology? Marketing or strategy? Numbers game. – @gavinmyaz

Those of us who refuse to participate in the electoral process are not doing our country any favour, in fact it’s quite the opposite. Our forefathers have died to take us to this point, just study the history! – Lindel Davis

How are the young people benefiting from this country? We don’t earn enough to buy land nor house. Most of us have to bury ourselves in debt to try uplift ourselves. Sorry but we’re too busy making ends meet. We don’t have time for $3,000 giveaways, t-shirts and free KFC. – Pashelle Brown Clarke

For me, it’s the fact that more people have demonstrated interest in voting in this election. It is very telling of many things that are good. However, what is sad about the voting apathy among the younger people is that both parties have done very little to reach them. If we truly value the youth of this nation, why isn’t more being done to reach and educate them? Most of them have the very wrong impression of politics and we can’t blame them. We don’t even want to include them in the plans that we have for them? Then we talk about inclusiveness. Why don’t we have youth in parliament and I’m not talking about youth parliament. Representation matters enu. These things influence their interests to not just want to be into politics, but to participate in the voting process as well. Fix it. – @willryanwilson
