This setback didn’t affect him; rather, he co-founded an advertising company in Johannesburg called The Creative Council. Under his guidance, this company achieved an annual turnover of $150 million, which was later acquired by Publicis Groupe in 2015 for over $150 million, marking one of the largest business deals in Africa.
He also worked as a stockbroker for Lehman Brothers and appeared as a television host on Bloomberg. All of these experiences were key to his growth in the blockchain, as he made his first investment in Bitcoin during the 2013 bull market.
In 2017, Ran Neuner hosted the first-ever blockchain television show, “Crypto Trader,” televised on CNBC Africa, featuring crypto gurus and market leaders.
Building on his media personality, Neuner hosted a crypto show, which gained over 10 million views and 1.5 million YouTube subscribers, as he continues to push for a better crypto community.
To ultimately cap his success, Ran Neuner initiated a $10 million runway fund to help COVID-19 victims, which led to more ideas to create Banter Capital, a company focused on crypto startups with $200 million in funding.
