Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, evaded a question on the acquittal of all accused in the Malegaon blast case. When asked about the verdict and the Congress party’s past use of the phrase ‘saffron terror’, he urged the reporter not to digress. Instead, he directed focus towards the government’s policies, stating, “The main issue sitting in front of India today is that the government has destroyed our economic policy has destroyed our defense policy has destroyed our foreign policy they are running this country into the ground.” He specifically referenced the 25% tariff plus penalty imposed on India by the United States. He also alleged that the Prime Minister works for one person, Adani. The broadcast also included a reaction from Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, who stated that the guilty in the blast should be punished.
