Imagine the Carrousel du Louvre filled with laptops, post-its, and hugs between coders: that’s how the finals of the Qubic RaiseHack took place on July 8-9, alongside the RAISE Summit, the main European gathering dedicated to AI. The 2025 edition truly earned its title as the world’s largest AI hackathon: over 6,000 registered developers across all Tracks, a record certified by the organizing foundation.
At the heart of this ocean of talent, 400 enthusiasts focused on the Qubic Track, the decentralized ecosystem of smart contracts and AI orchestration. The result? 22 finalist teams, selected both for the sophistication of their business model and the elegance of their code.
“The pace is crazy, but the learning curve is even more intense,” says Aïcha, lead dev of a team from Casablanca. Working online from July 4 to 8, her team delivered a lending prototype in 120 hours flat. A feat far from isolated: the average time for a POC on the Qubic Track is the same.
The real surprise? The commitment. All participants want to come back and develop the smart contracts of tomorrow on Qubic.
Teams on the Qubic Track tackled four ambitious challenges to advance Web3:
Building secure bridges to transfer data and assets between Solana and Qubic, ensuring interoperability between the two.
Creating decentralized platforms for options and futures trading on Qubic, with AI-powered trading tools.
Integrating the Ethereum Virtual Machine into Qubic to run Ethereum apps on the Qubic network.
Developing AI tools to verify C++ smart contracts on Qubic, enhancing security and trust.
These projects demonstrated how Qubic can address major Web3 challenges: cross-blockchain connectivity, contract security, and more.
The Qubic Track offered significant incentives:
On July 8 and 9, the Qubic Track took center stage at the RAISE Summit, Europe’s largest AI event. Between keynotes from cloud giants and discreet networking under the pyramid, the finalists presented their demos.
A jury composed of the COO, two members of the ecosystem, and a developer selected three winners on the podium, but each finalist walks away with a spot for the Qubic Hackathon announced for Q4 2025.
The momentum is such that Qubic confirms a second edition of RaiseHack for Q4 2025, again alongside Lablab.ai. With a bigger grant pool, more mentors… and this time, a 100% Qubic-focused event.
For investors seeking quality AI × Web3 deal flow, the timing is perfect. Developer pre-registrations open soon, with limited spots.
RaiseHack proves that a well-orchestrated hackathon can become a machine for revealing and de-risking innovation. As decentralized AI approaches a turning point, missing the Qubic wave could be costly.
