Prime Video has delivered some wildly popular and acclaimed shows in recent years. In the best-case scenario, these shows don’t end after a single season; they become multi-season spanning sagas that allow viewers to become even more invested in the characters and stories they already love.
Already this year, subscribers have been treated to second seasons of The Night Manager, Fallout, and Cross. Prime Video has more shows returning throughout the rest of 2026, too. This includes a 10/10 series that’s already three seasons deep and is slated to keep going a while longer. And thankfully, its return happens in just over two weeks.
Invincible Season 4 Is About To Release On Prime Video
In 2021, Prime Video launched the first season of the animated superhero series, Invincible, based on the comic series by Robert Kirkman. Viewers have spent the last several years watching Mark Grayson’s heartbreaking and bloody journey to live up to his Invincible name. Invincible has become a premium example of superhero storytelling during the first three seasons, which are all critically acclaimed.
Nearly a year to the date of Invincible season 3’s ending, the show finally makes its highly anticipated return on March 18. The first three episodes of season 4 debut on Prime Video on that day, with weekly new releases after, leading to the season 4 finale on April 22.

By all indications, Invincible season 4 will advance Mark’s story in surprising ways and push him farther than before. The story will show the next stages of Mark’s romance with Atom Eve, learn about the threat the Viltrumite Empire poses under Thragg’s leadership, and more. With Kirkman running the show still, the drama, humor, emotion, violence, and overall quality should stay consistently high.
I, for one, can’t wait for these episodes and to have such a great show back on Prime Video. Invincible season 4 should be another big hit for the service, too, and one that we’ll be able to keep enjoying for years to come.
Invincible Season 4 Won’t Be The End
Prime Video has already made it official that the hit series will continue after these new episodes. Invincible season 5 was confirmed to be coming in July 2025. While there’s no release date attached to it, the expectation is that the show will continue to progress under the timeline of airing new seasons roughly one year apart.

Season 5 is not expected to be the end either. Kirkman previously outlined the roadmap for future seasons and said, “If Season 5 is the last season, something went horribly wrong.” He said in the same interview that he believes Invincible needs either 7, 8, or 9 seasons to properly adapt his 144-issue comic series.
So long as Kirkman gets to realize his ideal plan, there’s still three to five more seasons of Invincible still to come after season 4. That should be music to Prime Video’s ears, as this hit series isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
