We’re coming to Canada! As the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) marks its 50th edition next month, we’ll be there, bigger than ever, first with Katey Rich’s Prestige Junkie interview and portrait studio, and then an invite-only party on Sept. 7 thrown by Ankler Media CEO Janice Min and Letterboxd CEO Matthew Buchanan.
From Sept. 5-8, the Prestige Junkie Interview Studio will be the premier destination for some of the most compelling actors, filmmakers and cultural figures shaping the film landscape through their presence at TIFF. Katey and Prestige Junkie editor Christopher Rosen will lead interviews with actors and directors from the festival’s buzziest films, while photographer Chris Chapman will capture talent portraits. Katey is also set to return to the TIFF Industry Conference with a live recording of her Prestige Junkie podcast featuring a special guest soon to be announced (last year, she took the stage with Hugh Grant, for A24’s Heretic).
Plus, our festival and event coverage is expanding with Prestige Junkie daily dispatches. Throughout the festival, Katey and Chris will share a look inside the studio with recaps, videos and talent portraits. Meanwhile, Ankler Media co-founder Richard Rushfield will deliver on-the-ground reporting from premieres, parties and more in Toronto. Ankler Media will also distribute the video and photo content from the studio across its YouTube channel and social media.
