** Q3 2025: Trump’s DeFi Gains 5,931%, Bitcoin Millionaires Near 200K, Hacks Decline Further

Key Findings from Q3 2025:
· Trump-backed World Liberty Financial skyrocketed 5,931% in Q3, rising from $179.3M to $10.81B.
· Bitcoin millionaire addresses climbed by 7,872, bringing the total to 190,199, with over 22,000 holding $10M+.
· BlackRock’s crypto portfolio grew $22.46B (from $79.63B to $102.09B), led by Bitcoin (+$10.99B) and Ethereum (+$11.46B).
· Crypto hacks totaled $306.8M, the lowest quarterly figure in 2025 so far, down sharply from Q1’s $1.77B.
· Bitcoin ATMs expanded globally by 648, including 386 new installations in the U.S., lifting the worldwide total to nearly 40,000.
· President Trump’s personal crypto portfolio rebounded, recovering part of its H1 losses gaining 36% in Q3 (though still well below its January 2025 peak).
· XRP saw mixed signals: total accounts jumped by 421,000, while active addresses slipped by 464.
“Q3 2025 showed crypto’s resilience,” said Jordan Major and Diana Paluteder, co-authors of the report. “Institutional portfolios like BlackRock surged, Bitcoin millionaires continued to grow, and security incidents declined for a third straight quarter. At the same time, Trump’s family-linked DeFi platform shocked markets with a nearly 6,000% increase in holdings, a sign of both the opportunity and unpredictability defining this cycle.”
