A popular women-owned Edinburgh pilates studio is changing location from Bruntsfield to a new studio in Leith.
Maeve Pilates and Barre Studio Edinburgh is currently located on 45-47 Barclay Place but will soon be upgrading to a larger studio ” on the shore “.
The move is slated for late September and staff assured customers that all the same classes will be available post-move, plus more.
They announced on social media, saying the ” emale-owned, independent business” was “bootstrapped” from the owner’s kitchen table and “pursued with genuine passion”.
Their message read: “We’re moving studios in Leith. We’re saying goodbye to St Ninian’s Manse and hello to a bigger, brighter + better studio on the shore.
“Expect all the same classes you’ve grown to love over the last 8 months plus reformer Pilates!
We are really excited for this next phase of maeve and hope you are too.
“We will keep you up to date with all details about the move – we will be opening late September and don’t anticipate any major interruptions to our existing schedule.
“We’ll share more details on the location very soon but rest assured that if the current location works for you, the new one will too.
“For now, put Saturday 27th September in your diary because we’re planning a big launch event in our brand new studio ahead of our opening week and we would LOVE to see you there.
“Thank you for your continued support of maeve and everything we do. We’re a female-owned, independent business based here in Edinburgh – bootstrapped from my kitchen table (and many coffee shops!) and pursued with genuine passion for the community and brand we’re building.
“We’re so grateful for you + can’t wait to bring you even more amazing things in this next chapter.”
