Every garden needs a Blossom, but this poor little girl cat was abandoned earlier this winter and left to starve. When volunteers from Street Cat Angels rescued her on Feb. 5, “she was skin and bones.”
They know she was owned because she was immediately friendly and affectionate.
Now, I ask you, who abandons a lovely cat in the middle of winter?
Blossom has been nursed back to health, spayed and is up to date on her vaccinations. She’s currently in residence at Pat Brody Shelter for Cats in Lunenburg and this sweet kitty is ready to bloom with a purr-son or fur-mily who want to give a good cat a second chance.
And if you are reading this, and saying, “I need to spay/neuter my cat” reach out to Sterling Animal Clinic and Second Chance Animal Services which has reduced rates. Cats that are fixed are less likely to develop diseases and can live a long, calm life. Visit catsontheweb.org to learn more and if you can’t adopt, share this story.
