Pendulum have announced their first headlining shows in their native Australia in two-and-a-half years. The four-date run, set for March 2026, are in support of the Perth-born and UK-based drum-and-bass act’s recently-released fourth studio album, Inertia. “I can’t wait to get back on tour,” said Rob Swire – the band’s frontman and co-founder – in a press statement announcing the tour. “I know people always say this in interviews, but this time it feels different.” Although a return to the band’s homebase of Perth has not been announced as part of the Inertia tour, the tour promoter Frontier Touring has assured Western Australian fans that they “haven’t forgotten” about them, and that an announcement for a show would come in early 2026.
Inertia was released in late August 2025 – just over 15 years after the release of their previous album, 2010’s Immersion. The album cracked the top 10 of the UK Albums Chart upon release, marking the third of their albums to do so. Its tracklist combines both their Elemental and Anima EPs, which were released in 2021 and 2023 respectively, along with five new previously-unreleased songs.
Singles from the album began releasing in 2023 with ‘Halo’, which featured Bullet For My Valentine’s Matt Tuck, as well as ‘Colourfast’ and the Scxrlord-assisted ‘Mercy Killing’. This was followed in 2024 by ‘Napalm’, with Joey Valence & Brae, and three singles in 2025: ‘Save The Cat’ in June, ‘Cannibal’ with Wargasm in July, and the Awolnation-featured ‘Guiding Lights’ last month.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale from 2pm local time on Monday, September 8th via Frontier.
