Digital Citizenship In Our Schools
Digital citizenship skills help everyone in Pelham — students, families, and adults — navigate digital life safely and ethically. The Pelham Public Schools Digital Citizenship Curriculum provides students with ongoing lessons about online safety, cyberbullying prevention, media literacy, academic honesty in the age of AI, and balancing technology with mental health with emphasis on how to protect personal information, avoid cyberbullying, practice thoughtful online communication, and understand the real-world impact of their digital decisions. In addition to the ongoing curriculum, Pelham students engage in a variety of digital citizenship lessons and activities throughout the month of October led by library media specialists and the district’s instructional technology specialist.
