On Monday February 2 at the Seniors meeting a birthday celebration was held for those members born in February. The February birthdays featured are – Dee Saputo, John Wright, Frank Alberga and Elma Fisher. A cake was shared by everyone and all joined in singing Happy Birthday to these special Pelham Seniors. On February 8 the Pelham Civics will generously treat the group to a special Valentine Day Celebration Luncheon.
Pelham Seniors is open to all Pelham residents 55 and over and the weekly meeting takes place on Mondays at 1:00 at The Town House, there will not be any activities on Monday February 16: The Town House is closed for President’s Day. The group also sponsors many fun activities including lunch outings, casino trips as well as visits to Bronx Little Italy for shopping. Weekly activities include exercise and yoga, Pokeno, Bingo and Mah Jong. Contact Pelham Recreation for more information.
