Three train lines across Perth have been shutdown after a carriage derailed on Monday afternoon.
The Airport, Ellenbrook and Midland lines have all been cancelled between Perth to Redcliffe, Perth to Morley, and Perth to Bassendean.
It is understood a train carriage has derailed and blocked off the train line about 3.30pm.
The incident is also causing delays on the Fremantle line and is expected to affect the train lines well into the evening.
Replacement buses are being organised at the affected train lines.
Transperth urged travellers to allow extra time and be aware that replacement buses may not connect with timetabled bus and train services.
Alternatively, a timetabled service may be put on to help travellers.
Commuters can check a list of alternative bus routes or use the JourneyPlanner to plan their journey.
