Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar has called on all patriotic and like-minded Islamic and political groups to unite under the July Charter to build a “New Bangladesh” free from corruption, injustice, oppression, and killings.Speaking on Saturday during voter outreach programs in Sadar Union of Dumuria Upazila, Khulna-5 constituency, Parwar criticized the previous government for imprisoning and abusing thousands of scholars, including Allama Delawar Hossain Saidi, Maulana Mamunul Haque, Maulana Junaid Al Habib, and others, allegedly for opposing government policies and foreign influence.
