A bookshop which is moving to a bigger and better venue is due to reopen, with the addition of a children’s play café.
Butterfly and Bee, owned by Emma Burgoyne, has relocated to Frinton after a year on Thorpe-le-Soken High Street.
The family-run children’s book and gift shop, which focuses on sustainable, eco-friendly and versatile toys, will now be in Connaught Avenue.

“We can’t wait to welcome in lots of families and create a little hub here in our shop.
“A space where parents, grandparents and carers can connect with one another while their children play, learn and socialise with other small children their age.
“This really is a special space we have created and we have given so much thought to every aspect of it and how we can have a positive impact on our community.
“I think my husband will be pleased not to have to pick up another paintbrush for a while.
“He’s worked his socks off getting this shop up and running and has earned a well deserved break.”
Play sessions, special events, craft clubs and book clubs will be available.
Emma wants to use the space as somewhere for parents to meet and connect with each other.
They also take into consideration working commitments for parents by creating a workspace for them where they can keep an eye on their children.
