Dr. Arinze Madueke, founder of Arigo Technologies, has said the firm developed seven digital platforms to address Africa’s unique challenges while positioning the continent as a leader in global technology.
At the unveiling in Lagos were top dignitaries, investors, and journalists.
Madueke said: “We are building solutions that create jobs, empower entrepreneurs, connect talents, and prove that Africa can lead in innovation.”
He listed the platforms as MyArigo.com: business marketplace and professional network; FutbolConect.com: AI-driven scouting hub for football talent with blockchain-based contracts; Miamour.me: marriage and therapy platform; CribsAndRides.com: marketplace for luxury real estate and automobiles; Ijeuwa.com: storytelling platform that rewards users; EduGlobal.international, global education technology platform that offers blockchain and academic certificates, and Twy.app, Agentic AI brand.
He backed Federal Government’s efforts in tech ecosystem but called for more involvement for improved visibility, support, and encouragement for industry players.
Madueke urged the government to provide infrastructure and policy frameworks for innovators and startups to thrive in the evolving technology-driven economy
“I am delighted you are part of history as we showcase years of research, innovation, and sacrifice,” he said.
He said the platforms were developed over five years in Arigo Innovation Lab, through testing, intellectual property, investment, and personal sacrifice.
“Some of the platforms stem from personal experience. For instance, CribsAndRides was born after I was scammed by a supposed land agent after returning from abroad.
“FutbolConect, from my being a football club owner, addresses gaps in talent discovery, transfer processes, and agent reliability in the global football ecosystem,” he added.
He encouraged startups and tech enthusiasts to innovate, noting Arigo’s innovation hub will support entrepreneurs with ideas linked to technology and digital solutions.
Sports journalist, Ralph George, said FutbolConect had onboarded over 800 football clubs globally since its initial soft launch earlier in the year.
George said more than 35,000 players had registered on the app, with a transfer value of N1.2 billion executed through deals via the platform and website.
“This platform bridges the gap where players, clubs, agents, and managers fall victim to fraud.
“Nigerian clubs spend millions bringing agents who often disappoint,” George said.
Others include Miamour.me (marriage/therapy platform), and CribsAndRides.com (real estate and auto marketplace).
The event attracted representatives from agencies, financial institutions, universities, investors, FIFA-agents, and figures from Nigeria’s entertainment and technology industries.
