The new-look Pac-12 Conference has officially, and finally, announced its 2026 football schedule.
It’s a year full of new in Corvallis for the Oregon State Beavers — a new head coach, a new coaching staff, new players, a new set of conference opponents and more.
After a busy transfer portal window that saw an exodus of nearly 30 players and the introductions of over 20 more, head coach JaMarcus Shephard and the Beavers are now working with the roster that will take on the new Pac-12.
And now, the Beavers get to prepare while knowing what the schedule in the fall of 2026 will look like.
Oregon State has four out-of-conference games booked for September. The Beavers travel to take on Houston Sep. 5 and will host 2025 College Football Playoff qualifier Texas Tech at Reser Stadium in Corvallis Sep. 12.
OSU will host Montana Sep. 19, then travel to El Paso, Texas, to play UTEP Sep. 26 before Pac-12 action starts.

Oregon State football Pac-12 schedule
After Oregon State’s out-of-conference run to start the season, the remaining weeks are reserved for the Pac-12 schedule.
Oregon State’s first game of the new Pac-12 will be Oct. 3 at Colorado State.
Then the Beavers return home to Reser Stadium for two weeks to take on San Diego State (Oct. 10) and Washington State (Oct. 17).
Oregon State’s bye week will be in week eight.
OSU jumps back into Pac-12 action on Halloween, Oct. 31, with a trip to Fresno State.
The next three weeks will see the Beavers stay in the Pacific Northwest. Oregon State will host Texas State Nov. 7, visit Boise State Nov. 14 and host Utah State Nov. 21.
The Pac-12 is introducing a home-and-home flex matchup to the schedule to occupy week 13 of the season. The matchup will be based on the best interests of the league, including College Football Playoff considerations, according to the Oregon State and Pac-12 press releases.
Oregon State’s projected week 13 opponent is Washington State, but the Pac-12 retains the right to adjust matchups.
The Pac-12 championship game will be hosted at the home venue of the highest seed and is set to take place Friday, Dec. 4 and will be aired on CBS and Paramount+. The matchup in the championship game will be decided before the week 13 contests.
Oregon State football’s new staff
Since his hiring Nov. 28, JaMarcus Shephard has brought in his own personalized coaching staff to lead the Beavers into the new era of the Pac-12.
Pairs of offensive and defensive coordinators have been appointed to their respective positions as both sides of the ball see coaches split coordinator duties.
Ryan Wallace and Mitch Dahlen are the Beavers’ new offensive coordinators. Wallace, who’s notably spent time with the football programs at Purdue and Louisville, will also serve as tight ends coach. Dahlen, who was at both Alabama and Washington with Shephard, will be the quarterbacks coach.
Defensively, Cort Dennison and Mike MacIntyre will serve as co-defensive coordinators.
Dennison, who graduated from Washington in 2011 and spent last season as defensive coordinator at Idaho, will also serve as linebackers coach.
MacIntyre notably won national coach of the year honors in 2016 with former Pac-12 member Colorado and will take on linebacker coach duties in addition to defensive coordinator.
Ricky Brumfield holds special teams coordinator responsibilities and will also be cornerbacks coach. Brumfield brings 20 years of coaching experience across the NCAA and NFL to an Oregon State special teams looking to improve upon last year’s subpar performances.
