Ondo Global Markets has now expanded to Binance Wallet to bring more than 100 tokenized U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs), Ondo Finance announced on Nov. 26.
With this development, Ondo’s tokenized equity offerings are now available to Binance Wallet’s over 280 million users on BNB Chain.
While Binance Wallet is a self-custody Web3 wallet integrated into the Binance app, BNB Chain is one of the world’s most popular blockchain networks.
Binance Wallet users can trade on-chain stocks by choosing their favorite products in the “Stocks” section in the “Markets” tab of the app. Trading fees for these latest offerings is as low as 0%.
Launched by Ondo Finance and the Ondo Foundation, Ondo Global Markets is a tokenization platform built to turn publicly traded securities into on-chain assets.
To put it simply, tokenization is the process of leveraging blockchain technology to represent real-world assets (RWAs) like stocks, funds, real estate, etc. as digital tokens.
