And now, the iconic car has resurfaced in a place where no one expected to see it: Italy. Yes, you read that right. Recently, a video has surfaced online that is catching widespread attention online. It shows a well-maintained Hindustan Ambassador parked on a roadside in Milan, Italy.
Ambassador From Gujarat Spotted In Italy
On a closer look, the clip reveals a surprising detail: the number plate. Instead of an Italian registration, the Ambassador carries an Indian one.
The number plate bears the RTO code GJ01 which confirms that the car is registered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The overlay text on the video reads, “Spotted a GJ01 Ahmedabad-registered Ambassador in Milan, Italy.”
The caption accompanying the clip asks, “How did this Indian icon end up in the fashion capital!!”
Since being shared online, the clip gained significant traction as it accumulated more than six million views. In the comment section, people shared their varied thoughts to an unexpected sight.
