SOUTH BEND,Ind. — Peacock announced today that its documentary series on Notre Dame football, Here Come the Irish, will be back for season two, premiering Dec. 8. The news dropped alongside a clip of former tight end Kevin Bauman addressing the team, stating that every player’s journey is special.
The series takes fans inside the Irish program with behind-the-scenes access to practices, game prep, exclusive interviews, and the energy of game day. It also highlights life off the field, from academics to personal stories.
While the number of episodes hasn’t been revealed and the show won’t air during the regular season director John Fornaro says his focus is on building trust with players and coaches. He explained that the more they open up, the better the storytelling.
