September 07, (THEWILL) — The National Orientation Agency (NOA), Akwa Ibom Directorate, has pledged to deepen collaboration with the Blessed Family Association to strengthen family values and promote community engagement across the state.
This assurance was given by the State Director of NOA, Mr Mkpoutom Mkpoutom, when he received members of the Blessed Family Association, a newly registered nonprofit, during a courtesy visit to his office in Uyo.
The Blessed Family Association, which obtained registration from the Corporate Affairs Commission this year, is focused on strengthening marriages and empowering families nationwide.
Since launching its Marriage and Family Blessing programmes in 2015, the group has expanded its reach through workshops, counselling, and grassroots outreach initiatives.
Speaking during the visit, the association representative, Dr Raphael Ogar, commended NOA for its commitment to policies that uphold family values. He described the family as the foundation of society, noting that peace, love, and unity within homes are essential for national development.
Dr Ogar added that the Association is committed to helping families thrive and invited more households to participate in its programmes aimed at enhancing family well-being.
Responding, Mr Mkpoutom reaffirmed NOA’s mandate to mobilise, sensitise, and educate Nigerians on citizenship codes, government policies, and family values.
He emphasised that families with strong values are vital to building a “greater Nigeria”.
