A recruitment event for NHS mental health services is set to take place in York.
Organised by Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust (TEWV), the walk-in event will focus on crisis services for both adults and young people across North Yorkshire.
Interviews will be available on the day, where attendees will be able to learn more about current vacancies, apply for positions, and speak to staff.
Mel Woodcock, general manager for child and adolescent mental health services at TEWV, said: “Our crisis teams step in when it matters most, providing urgent mental health care and support to the people in our communities.
“We have a range of roles available – from healthcare assistants to registered nurses to administrative posts.”
The event will also offer information on the benefits of working for the NHS, including ‘bank’ or temporary roles.
Ms Woodcock added: “This may be the perfect opportunity for someone looking to relocate to this beautiful area, or perhaps someone looking for their next career move in the NHS.”
The event will take place on January 16, 2026, from 10am to 4pm at Priory Street Centre in York.
